Learn how to draw the Flower of life.
1. Find the Center of the Paper
First, use your ruler to mark the midpoint of each edge and then, draw a horizontal and vertical line to find the exact center.
2. Draw the First Circle
Then, place your compass point in the center and draw a full circle.
3. Create the Vesica Piscis
Without changing the compass width, place the point on the circle’s intersection with the horizontal line. Then, draw a second circle. The overlapping shape is called a Vesica Piscis.
4. Complete the First Ring (Seed of Life)
Continue the pattern – each time placing the compass point on a new intersection so you draw six more circles around the center one. After that, you’ll end up with seven circles total that form the Seed of Life.
5. Add the Second Ring
At last, place your compass point on the outer intersections of the Seed of Life and draw 12 additional circles. This brings your total to 19 circles. Finally completing the Flower of Life pattern.
